CTE programs educate students for a range of career options through 16 career clusters and more than 79 specific articulated pathways. Integrating academics and application prepares students to be college- and career-ready by providing core academic skills, employability skills and technical, job-specific skills.

The best CTE programs provide the opportunity to earn stackable industry-recognized credentials along well-defined career pathways, allowing participants to enter the labor market relatively quickly while maintaining the option for further education and training to enhance career prospects and earnings.

The Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC), established in 1994, is a not-for-profit specializing in access to applications and the utilization of videoconferencing for live interactive content and professional development, as well as web-based collaborative learning environments for K-20. CILC provides consulting expertise in videoconferencing, integration, problem based learning projects, school community partnerships and effective techniques for the delivery and development of quality programs.

Select one of the reading lists (pre-K–grade 12 selections or professional learning), read and reflect on each book, and convene for a full day of networking, best practices and literacy resources.
