Assistant Principals & Dean of Students Community of Practice
The Leadership Link is a Community of Practice that brings together South Central region assistant principals and deans of students with a shared goal: to strengthen district-wide leadership in supporting students across all age groups. The focus of this community will center on addressing three core areas of student success—academics, attendance, and social-emotional well-being—with attention to the unique needs of learners at each developmental level.

- Professional learning opportunities aligned to district and school priorities
- Legislative updates that inform policies and practices impacting students and schools
- Networking and collaboration to address timely problems of practice in real time
- Sharing celebrations and successes to build momentum and collective efficacy
This community will serve as a space for connection, problem-solving, and capacity building—ensuring district leaders are equipped with the strategies, knowledge, and support needed to improve student outcomes and create thriving school environments.
