CoPs harness the power of the group, helping leaders make connections that foster collaborative problem solving and professional growth.

The CoPs help the SCSC understand the needs of its members and build the relationships and programs to meet those needs.

Special Education Communities

SCSC hosts several Communities of Practice related to the low incidence disability areas; they meet several times per year to discuss best practice and research initiatives. Each Region 9 CoP has representation on the state committees to assure dissemination of state information within their content area.
