K-12 ELA Standards Implementation Workshop

This ELA Standards Workshop is an opportunity to dig deeper into the 2020 MN ELA Standards and their implementation. Regional teams will collaborate and learn together through various implementation processes, including unpacking benchmarks, bundling benchmarks, aligning standards and curriculum, and developing horizontal and vertical alignment. Kristin Bauck, MDE English Language Arts Specialist, will facilitate the workshop along side the SCSC COMPASS Literacy Team. The target audience is district standards implementation teams and any other key personnel involved in standards implementation and alignment.  Consider inclusion of district, school, and teacher leaders along with your district literacy lead.  While we strongly encourage district teams to attend this event, each person attending will need to register individually.

There is learning prework that can be completed prior to Oct. 3rd or participants can arrive early to complete prework on the day of the workshop.  Prework will be sent in your registration confirmation.
