Session 1 – Foundations for Modern WBL

The Human Element: Elevating CTE & WBL Through AI and Liberating Structures

A 6-Part Virtual Mastery Series for Career & Technical Educators
Weekly | 60 Minutes | Practice-Focused | All Sessions Virtual

Work-Based Learning (WBL) is more than exposure to careers — it is structured learning connecting classroom instruction to authentic workplace experience through sustained industry interaction, reflection, and skill development.

The World Economic Forum is looking toward a workplace of 2030 that will reward those who can think analytically, collaborate effectively, adapt rapidly, and learn continuously.

This mastery series combines:

  • High-Reasoning AI → accelerating analysis, simulation, and feedback
  • Liberating Structures (LS) → shifting participation so every learner contributes
  • WBL principles → authentic, structured, measurable career-connected learning

Together, these create classrooms where students move from passive learners → emerging professionals.

Session Topic: From Teacher Delivery → Student Agency

Establish the shared model for AI + LS + WBL. Build an AI sandbox, run your first LS protocol, and develop a clear vision of modern WBL instruction.

Cost: $50 per session or all 6 sessions for $199.
