Construct Tomorrow

Experiential-learning activities in the construction trades

Upcoming Events

Construct Tomorrow is an interactive career fair that features each of the construction trades including bricklayers, carpenters, cement mason, electricians, floor coverers, iron workers, laborers, pipefitters, finishing trades, sheet metal workers and more.  The trade trainers provide hands-on experiences for students to learn about careers in the construction industry and union apprenticeship training programs. The event is free and open to all high school students.

  • Chaperones: Schools are expected to bring their own chaperones.   Construct Tomorrow recommends one chaperone for every 25 students.
  • Transportation Scholarships: To request assistance with busing costs, please complete the Transportation Funding Request Form (coming soon).  Limited resources may be available.
  • Prepare Students: There are several resources available to prepare students for the event including videos, a classroom activity and information on all the apprenticeship programs available.  See resources below.

Invitation to Home School Network
We would like to extend this opportunity to students in your district that are home schooled.  Please help us spread the word.

Trades After Hours
Our local labor union representatives will be hosting a “Trades After Hours” event following the Construct Tomorrow event from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  It is free and open to the public.  All ages are welcome.  Students, parents, job seekers and career changers are encouraged to attend to learn about union apprenticeship opportunities in the construction trades.

Thank you for helping us expose students to these high growth, high demand occupations in the region!
