Kenyon is located in southeastern Minnesota, about 45 minutes south of the Twin Cities.  The city has a rich history, with a welcoming community that enjoys local events and gatherings.

The City Administrator performs top-level administrative and supervisory work to coordinate all municipal operations, manages finances and investments, prepares, and administers the annual budget, oversees payables and receivables, payroll administration, and municipal elections.  Departments supervised include city administration, public works and parks, liquor store, fire, police, library, and the Gunderson House.  The position is responsible for statutory Clerk-Treasurer duties.  Also responsible for economic development and planning activities.

Two positions: Yellow Medicine County Soil and Water Conservation District

Yellow Medicine County is located in Southwestern Minnesota, and spans a total area of 763 squares miles. The Yellow Medicine Soil & Water Conservation District  works with landowners in both rural and urban setting to carry out a program for the conservation, use, and development of soil, water, and related resources. The SWCD is governed by locally elected officials and staffed by professionals dedicated to serving the public.

Director, Yellow Medicine County SWCD

The Director supervises and directs all SWCD staff and Human Resources activities, including scheduling weekly staff meetings, conducting annual performance reviews, and updating personnel policies and procedures annually. This role supports staff, agencies, and government officials in conserving water and soil resources, and manages all public relations for the SWCD.

Technician, Yellow Medicine County SWCD

The Conservation Technician supports the local SWCD by collaborating with state and federal staff, agencies, and partners to promote conservation programs and protect water and soil resources in Yellow Medicine County and other SWCD areas. They comply with all SWCD personnel policies and local, state, and federal laws.
