School Crisis Response Team Training
This training prepares educators, and school mental health professionals to serve on a regional team that is deployed to support districts experiencing a crisis. Rather than helping participants create their own district crisis plans, the training focuses on understanding the three phases of crisis response—pre-crisis planning, acute response, and post-crisis activities—along with common pitfalls that increase liability risk. Participants learn the CISM framework and research-informed intervention techniques that can be used immediately in school settings, and they engage in practical group activities to build confidence and readiness for responding when a district calls for support.
Refresher option avialable on July 23.
Dates: July 22 and 23, 2026
