Career academies describe high school to postsecondary experience that infuses career and college readiness with focused curriculum—preparing students for jobs that will strengthen our region, economically and equitably.

Rigorous programs of study are developed through a regional collaboration for the South Central Guided Pathways to Success plan, funded by the Greater Twin Cities United Way. Collaboration and alignment of initiatives focus on pathways development in health science technology, information technology and agricultural manufacturing. Pilot school districts and communities directly served included St. James, Butterfield-Odin, Le Sueur-Henderson, Madelia, Mankato, St. Peter and Tri-City United.
