South Central Service Cooperative offers two regional scholastic chess tournaments annually in the fall and in the spring. These tournaments are one-day events to celebrate youth and chess. Competition is open to students in grades K12, with USCF-rated and non-rated scholastic sections available for play. Individual awards include trophies for first, and medals for second and third place for each competition level.
