SCSC members are automatically members of Cooperative Purchasing Connection (CPC).

Cooperative Purchasing Connection

CPC was created by Minnesota's Service Cooperatives to help member agencies fulfill their purchasing needs, and to provide them with excellent, efficient procurement support.

How it works

CPC partners with reputable vendors on behalf of service coop members to provide a wide portfolio of high quality products and services with excellent volume discounts.

All of the vendor agreements are the result of formal bids or negotiated contracts.

CPC conducts the competitive sealed solicitation/bid process and awards to the most responsive vendor(s), and SCSC members can then leverage CPC contracts at no cost.

Visit purchasingconnection.org to find vendors, review vendor information, access members-only discounted pricing, and find online ordering instructions.

Benefits

  • Volume Counts: The combined purchasing power of over 3,000 member agencies creates substantial discounts on high-quality products available from more than 117 partnered vendors.
  • Convenient Ordering: Purchase directly from the vendors and order only what you need, when you need it.
  • Satisfies Bid Requirements: CPC's formal bids and RFPs satisfy the Minnesota competitive bidding requirements (Minnesota Statute 471.345 subd. 15) so you can purchase off CPC contracts without needing to bid on your own.
  • Expertise On Your Side: The Cooperative Purchasing Connection team works at your side as you navigate the procurement process.
