Paraprofessional Conference Date Set for 2005

Mark you calendars for Friday, November 4, 2005. SCSC will again present “Sharing and Caring” a conference for the Paraprofessional. This one-day conference will be held at the Midwest Wireless Center in Mankato, 8:00 a.m–3:00 p.m. and is available to all paraprofessionals and Title 1 Coordinators. The conference provides a network for paraprofessionals of all levels to share information and experiences, and to meet colleagues who face the same challenges and issues.

Children in Poverty: “Focus on Families in Poverty” will be this year’s topic of discussion. Attendees will listen to a keynote address and will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions.

Breakfast, lunch and all conference materials are included in the fee. Please check the SCSC website, www.mnscsc.org, (click on the Paraprofessional Page) for registration information, a list of conference presenters, and more details that will be posted soon.
