DESCRIPTION

Do you want to:
- Narrow the achievement gap?
- Enhance teaching?
- Motivate students?
- Improve curriculum?
- Improve communication?
- Engage parents?
The thoughtful use of assessment data will enable you to meet these goals. Assessment leadership is an idea whose time has come. This exciting project builds on the assessment practices of exemplary teachers, schools, and districts with tools and technology that puts pertinent, accurate, timely data into the hands of classroom teachers, building principals, and central administrators. Services have been developed to facilitate professional development and provide access to resources that promote the thoughtful use of data to make instructional, programmatic, and policy decisions.
The Assessment Leadership Project hosts a collaborative data warehouse and data management system for its members in partnership with Central Minnesota Educational Research and Development Council (cmERDC) using the Viewpoint Solutions system.
The Viewpoint system enables teachers and administrators to make smart, informed decisions based on current data merged into a single system. It is a fully integrated suite of data analysis and reporting tools.
- Analytics: Analytics enables teachers and administrators to easily and intuitively access, analyze, and share school and student information
in a secure environment. More >
- Reports: Reports provide on-demand views into student and school performance for teachers, principals, and administrators using easy-to-use student, classroom and school level reports and graphs. More >
- Student Plans: Student Plans allows educators to enter data to complete district, state, and federally required reports to aid in student learning. Using a secure Web interface, educators can quickly and efficiently enter the information necessary to complete mandated instructional plans for students. More >
